Rough matter from renewable origin
Our products are manufactered
from dye-plants grown in France by our own network of
farmers or purchased from selected suppliers for species
from mild regions.
Working on about 20 different dye-plant
species, Couleurs de Plantes does participate into the
biodiversity preservation.
Quality - Tracking
All our rough matters are
first analyzed in our laboratory, receive a code number
and enter a quality, evaluation, control and tracking
system from field to batches.
Rough matters and products are regularly
controled during their storage.

Plants grown in France
Plants are grown under contract
in France (Poitou-Charentes - Atlantic Coast - mainly,
Midi-Pyrenees - South West - for woad) from varieties
selected for their high content in coloring matters.
Our crops are managed under
specifications and respect the principles of sustainable
agriculture. Dry rough matters are stored and enter
into production upon request.
We keep a permanent storage
representing a potential of 250 Tons of final product
(dyed textiles, paints, cosmetics...).
Couleurs de Plantes has a
special partnership with CAPA (Coopérative Agricole
des Plaines d'Ariège), the company producing
the french indigo from woad.
