More than
20 different plant rough matters are
used for our natural dyes.
Our dye
extracts can be used for any natural (cotton, linen,
hemp, bamboo, silk, wool...) and for some synthetic
(polyamid) fibers.
Our products
can be mixed and combined with several mordants to provide
you an infinite range of natural shades for your textiles.
Dyeing with dye extracts & natural dyes
Our natural
dyes are used as mordant dyes : a preliminary bath
of the fiber into a metallic mordant solution does improve
their fixation, shade and fastnesses. Indigos
are used like other indigoid dyes or vat dyes : the
dye bath is processed under reduced form and the textile
is then oxidized.
Our products can be used with any
industrial dye processes and materials : yarn dyeing,
package dyeing, skein dyeing,
open width dyeing, piece dyeing... with jiggers, overflows,
beck... and for any textile specialties : furnishing
fabrics, household linen, garment... They can
also be used for home dyeing and crafts.
A technical help for industrial
developments is available through our partnership with
ARRDHOR
for your next natural dyed products. Technical and marketing
staff is associated to these projects.
Below are a few downloads including
advices for your first steps for home dyeing with dye
extracts :

Printing
Our natural
dyes can be used for printing : screen printing,
roller printing, stamp, stencil. Setting at room temperature
or under wet or dry steam. The extracts (and mordants)
must be added to the binder.
Printing is also possible
with our pigment pastes
after incorporation into an appropriate binder. Application
with a brush, stamp, stencil....

Textile & Ecolabels
Our natural dyes fit the labels
for textile ecological products (Oekotex, Soils association...)
if the final textile satisfy all other requirements.
